Julian is a farm management consultant and managing director of TransformAgri which works primarily with the Dairy sector based in the central South Island of New Zealand.
Julian works across a range of farm management disciplines including financial, nutrition, agronomy, soils, animal production, succession and strategic development.
Julian has been a member of the New Zealand institute for primary industry management (NZIPIM) for more than 16 years, has served on the national board for 4 years and is a past president. With an undergraduate degree in Science from Lincoln University he is a strong believer in continued personal and professional development and has completed further postgrad qualifications at Massey University, a Kellogg scholarship, and the leadership development program based at the Royal Agricultural University in the UK and in Brussels.
Julian is also a member of two regional branch committees for NZIPIM, a member of the Institute of Agricultural Management in the UK, and he joined IFMA Council in 2023 after being elected by the delegates at the IFMA23 Congress.
