EU COMMISSION – WORKSHOP ON THE SIMPLIFICATION OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE ”CAP”
The IFMA was invited to send two representatives to a conference workshop to be held with the theme ‘A simple CAP for Europe – a challenge for all’ – to be held in Brussels on 3rd & 4th October 2006.
Brian Jacobsen and Jørgen Jensen, both from Denmark, kindly took up the challenge at short notice and attended and participated in the meeting on IFMA’s behalf.
Their report highlights the great range between the individual EU Countries in the way that they implement the CAP – with different consequences for the farmers who have to deal with the ‘uncommon’ strategies and instruments adopted by their Governments.
